Tea Appreciation Workshops in Singapore
Tea appreciation workshops teach you how to taste, brew, and enjoy tea the way it has been done for centuries. At Clayable, small and large groups sit down together and learn the basics in a relaxed Singapore studio. No experience is needed. You just need to be curious about tea.
What You Do in the Workshop
Our instructor walks you through each step by hand. You smell dry leaves, watch them steep, and taste the tea at different stages. Along the way, you learn:
- How to brew tea using traditional methods, including Chinese tea styles such as gongfu cha
- How water temperature and steep time change the taste
- How to tell good leaves from average ones
- How to care for a teapot and other brewing tools
